Farming organically


We want to go further in our efforts, so in 2010 we began cultivating two separate parcels of Merlot using Organic Farming rules that insists on weed-killing by mechanical means, encourages insects who eat harmful bugs, pheromone control of pests, and the sole use of only sulphur and copper sprays.  In the cellar, we also respect nature.




It took 3 years of conversion to Organic and in 2013, 7 hectares of Lisennes was certified as such by Ecocert where we make organic red and rose.  Another 10 hectares are currently in conversion.  Some more merlot, but also with both varieties of cabernet.
