It is located in Tresses, 12 km east of Bordeaux, in the region of Entre-Deux-Mers, between Dordogne and Garonne rivers<\/p><p>Several grape varieties are planted in the vineyard :<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Merlot<\/strong> : a grape variety that ripes well and produces smooth and round wines.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Cabernet Franc<\/strong>\u00a0: a traditional grape variety from the right bank, known for its very elegant tannins. Its fruity aromas make it perfect for blends.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong> : this late-ripening grape produces very aromatic young wines and has excellent aging potential.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Malbec<\/strong> : this variety is less common but handles heat very well. Malbec brings a spicy character and a deep color to the wine.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Sauvignon<\/strong> : we have replanted Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris. This soil is of two types. Loams, both fine and coarse have a high silica content and the mildly calcium bearing limestone. A network of several kilometers of drains (perforated pipes) was buried beneath the vineyard. To the West is the Atlantic so vineyards have a maritime environment. Lisennes stands on the right bank of the Garonne on the hills of Entre-deux-Mers. The \u2018terroir\u2019 benefits from a mild oceanic climate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef1fa68 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ef1fa68\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c835769 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c835769\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">These geographic zones are distinguished by the style of their red wines. While Cabernet Sauvignon is predominant on the Left Bank, the Right Bank has made Merlot its main grape variety. Excellent dry white wines can be found in the Graves appellation on the Left Bank, as well as in the vast Entre-Deux-Mers vineyard. Finally, along the Garonne River, on both sides to the southeast of Bordeaux, sweet wines dominate the landscape.
