VigneWines that honor the land.

The prestigious Bordeaux Grands Crus are not the only ones to ensure the reputation of local wines. Lisennes is one of those "thousand and one castles" that produce Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur high quality. These titles alone represent more than 50% of the Bordeaux vineyards, more than 3 million hectoliters of red wine, white, rosé, sparkling wine and claret.
Of course, these products meet strict AOC charter which implies such a production is intentionally limited to 50 hectoliters per hectare. On the other hand, the wines must have a minimum alcoholic strength by specific sign of ripeness of the grapes harvested.

With regard to varieties, the 50-acre Castle Lisennes are planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, according to regional tradition.

We also offer a wine AOC "Entre-Deux-Mers." Lying between the Dordogne and Garonne this appellation covers the slopes and low hills with clay and limestone soils, like braids, or clay-silica.

The products of this name gives dry white wines cool, nervous, fruity, while the red "Bordeaux" and "Bordeaux Supérieur" are usually colored and full bodied.
